Do you have what it takes to help others transition into death? Do you have a passion or desire to learn more about this natural process? Are you interested in learning how to become an end-of-life doula?
If so this is the workshop for you.

By becoming an end-of-life doula, the experience offered me an opportunity to bridge the gap between the medical and holistic approaches to death. It offers a chance to do more than just serve the symptoms of a dying person but a chance to bring sacredness to the process.

If you, like Rhonda, find that you’re often the caregiver or maybe you just hear your heart timidly whispering that there is a better way to handle death, then contemplate joining her on March 3rd for her “Intro To Becoming an End-of-Life Doula” class. You must complete all three sessions to gain certification. Future class dates will be decided by student consensus.

The goal is to help bring healing to ourselves and others by providing a service that demystifies the dying process and brings awareness to a more sacred rite of passage. In a conscious, communal, authentic approach we will cover these topics in the class:

Why and How to Become an End-of-Life Doula:
-The necessary skills
-The death bed
-The physical aspects of dying
-Everything but the body
-And many more subjects and topics related to our end of life

She will also provide resources for:
-grief support
-advance health care planning
-family and caregivers
-funeral/memorial planning assistance
-most important companionship to the patients
-being a vigil presence for actively dying patients

Spaces are limited, so be sure to register today. Rhonda looks forward to taking this journey with you.
